Built-in Remote Control Link

DJI Inspire 1 Specs and Info released.
Richard Whelan head of marketing for Quadcopters.co.uk as been over in China for the Launch of the NEW DJI Inspire 1 which is the worlds first quadcopter to have a transforming body design and integrated 4k camera with built in hd wireless downlink with a range of 2km.
There are now lots of videos online showing just how great the quality of videos and stills are on the Inspire 1 and the staff here are excited to get them in.
Richard when in China for the launch was fortunate enough to fly the DJI Inspire 1 for quite some time over the several days he was there and claims this Quadcopter will blow you away with just how stable it is in the air .. Also surprisingly how stable indoors it flies due to the downward facing camera which somehow detects the distance from the ground and can maintain height and position without the need for GPS.

DJI DropSafe Rapid Parachute Deployment System for the S1000 and S900 and compatible with the DJI A2 Flight Controller. Available for Pre Order HERE

DJI DROPSAFE Drop Speed Reduction System, which is designed to slow the speed of your aircraft in the event of an emergency. It deploys in less than half a second, and is effective at a minimum altitude of 6 meters. The reusable design weighs less than 550g, adding very little weight to your flight payload.

DUAL SAFETY MECHANISMS & SELF CHECKING LED

The DJI DropSafe has both electrical and mechanical safety mechanisms to ensure there is never any accidental deployment.

Electrical Safety: The electrical safety prevents the DJI DropSafe from deploying within 9 seconds of the system being powered on.

Mechanical Safety: A removable safety pin prevents the triggering pins from making contact with the firing mechanism. Users must remove the safety pin before the first flight, and may choose to replace the safety pin after each flight.

Also, a self-checking LED indicates the DropSafe system status. A green light will display after a full system check is complete, and other lights will display indicating different statuses.

Fully Compatible with the DJI S900 AND S1000 Premium and S1000+ Models.

Not recommended for the DJI S800.

Compatible with DJI Flight Controllers
